If you looks outside you can finally see our first snowstorm. Things for today will get a bit interesting depending on the actual track of the system. If the system stays inland then we will see a changeover from snow to sleet and freezing rain, therefore getting less snow. However if the system if off the coast a bit then we have a good chance at some considerable accumulations. Also there will be strong winds associated with this system causing bitter cold wind chills.

Forecast for 2/14 and 2/15/2007
Wednesday: Snow and freezing rain in the morning. Then additional snow, sleet and freezing rain throughout the afternoon. Snow may be heavy in the morning hours. High of 32. Accumulations between 4-8 inches. Strong winds of 15-20 mph expected.

Wednesday Night: Continued snow, sleet, and freezing rain tapering off after midnight. Additional accumulations of about an inch. Low of 18. Winds will continue to be strong at 20-25 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny skies with a slight chance for an afternoon flurry. High of 23. Winds 20-30 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy with decreasing winds. Low of 10. Winds 10-15 mph.
